The Webcast function in Contentpackaging has been updated.

• it now support Full screen preview for FLV flash video
• it now checks if the description file is not detected, then it will show blank, instead of error (page not found)
• the layout has been improved.

You can easily convert videos to FLV using the freeware RivaEncoder,

Do note Riva Encoder is just front end the back end engine that does the encoding is 'ffMpeg' another prowerful freeware video encoder, but its a console application, no gui, but can convert to hundreds of video formats. Using RIva Encoder, you can actually force it to convert your FLV to MPG.

So to use webcast, best to use FLV as any (mac or pc) can view the video, just remember to limit your video size to 5mb. if the video is long split it to a few parts.
