New Tool: Lesson Plan for Teachers
We have computerize the laborious process of creating lesson plan, getting approval from HOD, getting feedback, etc into a web Application. In Lesson Plan, every teacher has a ’super visor’ assign to her, every ’supervisor’ can then monitor and comment on lesson plan created by teachers under their charge and VP or P have an over view of all Teachers and supervisor’s Lesson Plan.

Suggestion space
Suggestion space is an application that allows the teacher to create multiple suggestion ’boxes’ or spaces for student to give suggestion to. A Teacher could have multiple suggestion spaces (e.g 1. suggestion to improve the canteen & 2. suggestion to improve school garden) and give permission to different classes, and student then are able to provide suggestion, read other students suggestion and also rate and give comments to another student suggestion

Forum has a number of new function they are. 1) Users can subscribe/unsubscribe from a topic. Button is available at the top of each topic. When you are subscribed to a topic you will receive an email when there is a new post in the topic. 2) The email notification will include a direct link to view the forum. If user is not already logged into edulearn, they will be directed to a login page and then directed to forum topic. 3) We have added More information about a particular thread or folder. You will now know * last message post update (when was the last update) and by who * who was the topic starter * number of post available in a topic.

Classlist Sorted by Gender and Name
The Class-List (when you set permission) for the modules in edulearn, now is displayed the way the school’s classlist is displayed. Student class list is sorted by gender then by Name. Also an icon is displayed before a student name to indicate that the student is a Male or female, if a student gender is not set (by the student or was not imported with the gender specified) then the icon would be a ’?’ , so do get the student to update their gender.

Hello All, Introducing a new function called ’EduPost’ that allows teachers to send message to students and students to reply back to that message. You can even add attachments to your message, much like email and it has a built in WYSIWYG HTML editor for you to format your messages. It works like email, except you can check new mail simply by logging into edulearn. There is no physical email address thus you only get messages from users in the school. A permanent SPAM solution.
