Commonly known Problems faced by Users

Problem 1: Unable to launch any Edulearn tools

  • You clicked on Launch (to start e-Lessons)
  • You clicked on the Proceed to ... Quiz/Homework/Survey
  • You launched Forum
and your page is bounced to the same window, or does not launch a new window, you can refer to these following help topics:

a. To change your internet Explorer 6/7 Pop-up Blocker settings

b. To add Edulearn to your web browser Trusted Site

Problem 2: Unable to click on any topics (in Lesson) to play/launch

  • You clicked on Launch » any sub-topics and the lesson is not displayed on a new window, instead displaying the same window.
  • Cause of problem could be your flash player is not the latest version.
  • Below is a preview on how lesson suppose to work.







Click on Launch to play Lesson

Choose the topic from the top tabs and sub topics on the left panel. The main frame will display the associated contents within the sub-topic selected. Click on any of the content title. It should launch to a new window

This is the new window to be seen. If you do not see this screen, refer to the blue-highlighted text shown below

Once fully loaded, the e-Lesson will start

These applications are for Internet Explorer 6/7 and Mozilla Firefox 2/3.

Problem 3: Unable to access Edulearn with using Internet Explorer 6/7

If your Internet Explorer (IE) is not working properly, and you not able to submit quizzes, view courses, pop ups cannot be displayed even after installing the latest version of Internet Explorer, your IE could be faulty. We would recommend you try installing another popular free web browser called Mozilla Firefox.

Problem 4: I am a MAC user, and am not able to access Edulearn/Edulearn tools

Mac users are encouraged to use Mozilla Firefox instead of Safari. To download Firefox for Mac Users, please do the following:

Step 1: Go to this website http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html to download Mozilla Firefox 3.0
Step 2: Once website is launched, scroll down to column Fully Localized Versions
Step 3: For Language, choose English (British/US) and click on the download text in the center (For Mac OS X)
Step 4: Follow the instructions guide step-by-step

Problem 5: Unable to submit Quiz, no Submission message window appeared

Rightfully, users should see as follows,


User clicks on Proceed to Quiz

Once user click on Submit, user will see this message window

If user do not see the Message window, you might have an Anti-virus stopping/blocking a referrer page information from passing the quiz information over to Edulearn portal.

For example, to submit your quizzes, your quiz information page will be passed to another "address" before it can successfully accept your quiz submission.

To resolve this, users need to enable referrers. Click here

Problem 6: Unable to Log-in or Submit Quiz despite entering the correct details

You will receive the message We are sorry, but you will need to enable cookies and JavaScript to use your Screen Name with this site. when the settings of your Web browser are not set up to allow the Web page necessary access.
