Overview
EduWiz has four content tools: Course Wizard, Games
Wizard, Quiz Wizard and Photo Enhancement Wizard. The Course Wizard
helps users creates courseware in three simple steps. The Games
Wizard creates Flash-based games quickly. Currently, there are
ten
Flash-based games. The Automatic Image Enhancement Wizard corrects color and contrast problems in photographs and is useful for photo
galleries. The Quiz Wizard supports six types of quiz questions and
exports quizzes as auto-marking or as tracking quizzes (SCORM) for the
Learning Management System. After creating and packaging their
content with the help of the content tools, users have a choice of six
Flash-based Themes (or Templates) to present their coursewares.
EduWiz is integrated with a response system (or Instant Feedback
System) that obtains immediate feedback from participants be it
quizzes,
surveys or
self-paced lessons. The Instant Feedback System comprises an
infra-red receiver and 45 infra-red controllers. Connected
to the PC or laptop via the USB port, it offers portability and can be
easily transported to classrooms or used in fieldwork.
The
Quiz Bank consists of 18,000 questions from Primary to Secondary
level. The questions are divided into quizzes with 20 questions per
quiz for English, Mathematics and Science subjects. The quizzes can
be imported directly into the Quiz Wizard, Games Wizard and the
Instant Feedback System.
